Meet for Calendar

A macOS app by Adam Nahari

Meet for Calendar adds Google Meet to the Add Video Call menu of Apple Calendar on the Mac, one entry per Google account. Picking it attaches a fresh, unique meet.google.com link to the event, so the event shows a Join button and invitees receive the link.

How it works

A small companion app signs you in to Google once per account and keeps the authorization on your Mac. A Calendar extension then creates a new Google Meet meeting space through the Google Meet REST API each time you choose Google Meet for an event. There is no server; data travels only between your Mac and Google.

Your data

The privacy policy says exactly what the app receives from Google, where it keeps it, and how to remove it. The terms of service are short.

Availability

The app is a personal tool and is not distributed publicly.
